"Cute," Seokmin hums automatically, before he freezes. His chest suddenly feels horribly tight. "You...oh. On who?"
"This is the part that you won't like," Minghao sighs, before taking in a big breath and mumbling, "It's Mingyu..."
"What?"
"It's Mingyu."
"What?"
"I have a crush on Mingyu, Seokmin."
For a moment, the piercing heartbreak encapsulating Seokmin takes a break to make way for pure disgust. "Mingyu? As in my arch enemy Mingyu? As in the Mingyu that I caught picking his nose once? THAT Mingyu?!"
Seokmin's heart is fragile, and it's belonged to his best friend Minghao for so long that he doesn't think he could ever give it to anyone else. But maybe he learns to share it without meaning to, when Minghao admits to liking the worst (but also kind of the best) person Seokmin knows.

Soonyoung gasps sharply, and Junhui meows in confusion when Soonyoung suddenly picks him up off his comfy spot on the sofa and squeezes him. "How could you even suggest such a thing?! If anything, you would be the one asking me. Happy is the love of my life, you're just here by extension."
"Oh, really?"
Soonyoung nods adamantly. "And he loves me, too. Look!"
Junhui's still very confused, but when Soonyoung hugs him tight, he can only snuggle back because Junhui would never give up the chance to hug him. Soonyoung crows in triumph, petting Junhui's head happily. "See that? Maybe he even loves me more than he loves you, Wonwoo."
Junhui's been able to turn into a cat since before he can remember. Keeping a secret that huge takes a pretty big toll on him, so he doesn't think it's his fault that he manages to accidentally get adopted and reveal his secret to his best friend that he might be a little bit in love with. It's alright, though, because no matter what, he's still the happiest cat alive.

Soonyoung can't help but hope that he's not stupid enough to let go of it this time.
Following a sudden spike in Soonyoung's YouTube popularity, his friend Minghao decides to start up a programme teaching rich people to dance for things like functions and weddings. Soonyoung instantly goes along with it - who's he to say no to more money? - only to find out that his student is his old best friend from high school. The same best friend he's been quietly missing for years, ever since they first said goodbye.
Fate works in funny ways sometimes.
