With Mom working, Mark skipping out on all his college classes, and the world spinning regularly as always, Mark was left with the nagging suspicion that he would need far more patience if he wanted to properly raise Oliver. Who was going to tell him that parenting while also trying to balance your hero work life was a nightmare? He had a raging headache, an uneasy stomach, and had been staring at the window for the last twenty minutes while Oliver babbled nonsense in the living room. Mark wasn’t supposed to be this empty-handed, was he? He got himself into this mess, right, so he should know better. He should be better by now. Cecil interrupting just as Mark was about to throw himself through a window was not helping.

it's a bit of a struggle finding such long and well thought out fics for the secret history, nevermind winterpapen, so you know I LOVEEEE this. and it's a slow burn in the sense that we have 11 chapters, 45000 words yet they have shared ONE KISS. the characters, dynamics, chef kiss. could not have done any better I love you author 💗
