Shouto wouldn’t have believed it possible, but here’s the proof of it on his phone screen: Midoriya deciding to be unhelpful for the first time since Shouto met him. Both Uraraka and Asui texted him soon after as well, so those three might be hanging out together somewhere.
Uraraka: [[ "Finally!!! GOOD LUCK!! You can do it, Todoroki-kun!!!!" ]] and a shower of thumbs up and arms emoji.
Asui: [[ "Don't drink lots of water before you go meet him. If you do, make sure to go pee first. A bathroom break in the middle of a love talk is rude and ruins the mood." ]] along with her customary frog emoji.
Shouto is both impressed by her sensible advice, and bemused to have ever received such a message in his life. But their messages aren’t helpful at all. They are words of encouragement, yes, but they're making it seem like Iida's about to reciprocate Shouto's affections for him.

Shouto thinks it best not to remind Tenya of that time he’d gone to almost kill a man for vigilante justice. Or that time as teenagers when they went to rescue a kidnapped classmate without clearance from adults and professionals. Or that one time Tenya helped smuggle out an endangered giant gecko from the country, a difficult task when the creature imprinted on Tenya as it hatched. For someone as law-abiding as Tenya proclaims himself to be, he seems to have a penchant for bending them to suit his needs.
