Summary
“Tenner says he stays.”
The Captain nods, although he's quite sure Robin’s got himself the winning bet. “You’re on.”
As far as he knows, Robin initially called them all outside to show them children messing about with a bow and arrow, at most to laugh at someone avoiding getting shot by a comically narrow margin. A hole in a hat, that sort of thing.
Only, there’s now a man dying annoyingly slowly on the property, and —oh good God, there goes the bus— well, he's surely not going anywhere now, and they’re all witnessing that instead.It's 1984, and the first newcomer the Captain has to deal with ever is unsettlingly chipper for a guy who's just died a fairly gruesome, incredibly unlikely death. The Captain is both slightly concerned, and thoroughly annoyed.

Summary
Half of the ghosts become invisible to the others.
ie. Button House once again descends into chaos.
Some things never change, though: the Captain tries to hatch a battle plan of sorts, Julian and Robin get up to no good, and Alison tries to get one weekend of peace.
As she is the only one who can see them all, that might just have to wait. -

Summary
The Captain’s death is, it turns out, one great big Button House in-joke. One that Pat wasn’t ever made privy to, for some reason. Well, if no one will tell him, he may just have to solve the mystery on his own.
ie. Pat asks a stupid question during Music Club, and gets a little more than just a stupid answer.
