After months of struggling alone, Ilya unexpectedly shows up at the Hollanders’ house one night, terrified of his own thoughts.

    In the months that follow, Ilya hits low after low, struggling with his newly-diagnosed depression. David and Yuna do their best to be there for him while distance is still keeping Shane and Ilya apart.

    Dread fills Ilya, ice cold in his veins. “Shane, you are scaring me.”
    “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.” Shane takes a deep breath, hand still pressed against Ilya’s cheek, eyes locked into his.
    “Ilya. When I was eighteen, I tried to kill myself.”

    or, Shane tells Ilya he tried to kill himself and suddenly Ilya is more scared then he has ever been in his entire life. He didn't know he needed to fear this. But Shane won't let him drown in it. They will take care of each other.
