Summary
Dream had killed him in the prison, Tommy was sure of it.
He had felt his fist come crashing into his face. He remembered lying there on the prison floor, weak and helpless and utterly alone. He’d heard the sound of the trickling lava fading away, as he finally accepted his fate.
So why wasn’t he dead?
It didn’t make any sense. Nothing about this did.
One moment, he was unconscious on the prison floor, and the next, he found himself in an alternate universe where nothing seemed to be quite right.
This world was strange and confusing, and Tommy hated it. Here, people who he thought were friends were enemies, and enemies were friends. Suddenly, he’s the assistant leader of a Rebellion, and has to take down an Empire that he isn’t convinced is all that bad.
But maybe, just maybe, he was sent here for a reason. If he could save this Universe, could he be saved in his world too?

Tommy glanced down at Michael. “I can hold your hand if you want,” he mumbled. “Y’know, to keep you safe and everything.”
Michael blinked up at him.
“I mean, not that I care,” he said defensively. I just don’t want Tubso and Ranboo getting upset if anything happens to you.” Tommy paused. “Stop looking at me like that. I’m not scared.”
Michael continued to look up at him.
He sighed. “Okay, maybe I’m a little bit scared,” Tommy admitted, his voice unusually quiet. “But just a little bit.” He cleared his throat. “Don’t start to get the wrong idea or anything. I’m not a pussy.”
Michael took Tommy’s hand, clasping it with his own.
Tommy took a deep breath. “Alright…” He started walking forward, one small step at a time.
It was just the Nether. What could go wrong?

Summary
A violent screech pierced the air, and Mike grabbed Will, shielding him from something, but Will didn’t have the chance to react before that something punctured his stomach with blades of bone. He dropped to his knees, Mike’s arms halting his momentum.
“Will!” Mike shouted. His voice was raspy, strained, and frantic.
Heat spread from Will’s ears to his eyes, clouding his vision. He felt light enough to float. His consciousness left him slowly, slowly, then all at once—and he wasn’t cold anymore.
