Summary
Castiel Novak is content with the way he lives his life. A steady night job as a nurse at New York's finest hospitals and a part-time day job as a music instructor keeps him busy all through the week. And the prospect of love? Not in question.
That is until one fine afternoon, a knock sounds on the wall of his apartment flat, while he's in the midst of a violin lesson, a man's voice begging him to correct the tuning on his student's violin.
There onwards, the two men, although separated by a thin wall, begin to find solace within each other. On one side, a young, wide-eyed man, with exceptional hopes from his future and sparkles in his eyes, and on the other, a war veteran, with bleak despair, the weight of the world on his shoulders.
No names exchanged, no pictures to see, no liabilities to hold to each other, but wonders of the universe, whispered to each other in the lone hours of the day.
The clock is ticking. They have three months before they move away. Can love convince two men, poles apart in life, to allow fate to merge their paths?

Summary
Dean lasts three months.
Dean does what Sam tells him, keeps his distance, lets Cas pass him again and again, but Dean’s never been good at being patient, because after weeks and weeks of Dean’s longing growing and growing, all it takes is for Cas to meet his eyes one time and Dean snaps.
Cas is too slow to escape him.
Dean pins him up against the door of his bedroom before Cas can even turn the knob.
For a long time, Dean can’t get his tongue to work. For a long time, they sway against the door, and when Dean knows that he’ll never be able to get a word out, at least not without turning into a blubbering mess, he just closes his eyes and leans his forehead against Cas’ and Cas inhales then, sharp and surprised.
“Dean,” Cas says, softly, gently, and Dean can feel the tears sliding down his cheeks.
a coda to 15.18, 15.19 and 15.20 where Dean and Cas reunite and there's a very happy ending because I'm a sappy person and because happiness is what they deserve

Summary
Down on his luck in college, Dean Winchester finds a flyer taped to his dorm's bulletin board, reading, "Looking for model for long term project. No gender preference, pays in cash." And desperate as he is for cash, Dean can't help but feel self-conscious about the entire thing, even after he applies and meets his soon-to-be employer, Professor Castiel Novak. Only Dean never expected him to be so attractive—and so explicit in his desires, as well.
What starts out as a presumably mundane project quickly evolves into Dean's wildest fantasy, full of lace and nudity and the open road. What he never expected to get out of it, though, is a boyfriend, a better view of life as he knows it, and a lesson on how even the ugliest of scars can be beautiful.
