Naruto is hurt but no one will believe him because they're mad at a mistake he didn't make. This causes Naruto to leave the village. He gets angrier and angrier until all he wants is revenge on the village that had treated him so poorly. And he wants Sasuke of course.
“Goodbye godforsaken village. You wanted a villain and now you got one.” Naruto breathed in the fresh air of the night. If he knew how liberating it would be to leave the village he would have walked out years ago.
