Izuku came back to District 2 a Victor, stealing the glory that so rightfully belonged to Katsuki. At 18, this year is Katsuki's last chance to claim the title before he ages out and joins the Peacekeepers, or worse, gets sent to work in the quarry.
The 100th annual games are Katsuki's. There's nobody left to get in his way.
