They both stared at the flashing screen. In big, bold, capital letters, the words ‘NUCLEAR MISSILE ALERT. LOS ANGELES WILL BE HIT IN APPROXIMATELY 1 HOUR. PLEASE SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.’ glared at them.
“No, no, no, not again.” Lucy panics.
“Chen, we can't panic, but…we need to get people to safety.”
Grey’s voice comes from the radio. “All officers must do their best to protect the city of Los Angeles. Get civilians to safety and get yourselves to safety too. I am hoping this is a false alarm, but nothing can be for sure.”
