Summary
Living in the manor was so different from the cold mansion he had grown up in. Tim never felt lonely there despite its enormous size. Even with his busy schedule of juggling Batman's responsibilities and being WE’s CEO, Bruce still managed to spend more time with Tim than his parents ever had. Dick came to visit every weekend, taking Tim on fun outings across the city. He and Steph would hang out in the den after school on weekdays. He and Cass would spend quiet afternoons reading in the library while she practiced on the grand piano in the corner. He could always count on Alferd’s subtle presence in the manor, diligently cleaning or preparing a home-cooked meal. Tim was never alone there; it was a bit overwhelming at first, but it was nice.

Phantom’s form started to glitch and contort in his vision, a crown flickering in and out of existence above his head. A cloak made of the cosmos unfurled from his shoulders, eyes glowing bright and eerie, and god was he beautiful. It should be off-putting, his limbs just a little too long, his hair floating unnaturally around him, his teeth just a little too sharp, but Tim found himself wanting to kneel, wanting to worship. After all, it was clearly a god before him, wasn’t it? Gods were supposed to be beautiful, and this was the most beautiful thing Tim had ever seen.
Tim Drake is in Amity Park, investigating the GIW. Unfortunately for him, the local hero is exactly his type.
