“I’m Allison, by the way.” she said, but didn’t stick her hand out for a shake. Instead she just watched him with her big brown eyes. Isaac had to be a whole foot taller than her, but he was taller than everyone. He didn’t even realize he wasn’t making himself smaller. She didn’t seem to mind the height, raising her chin to look at him straight on.
“Isaac.” he said, after a moment. He was staring, he knew he was, and if Camden was here he would be making fun of him for acting like an idiot in front of a pretty girl.
“Do you always stare at people you don’t know, Isaac?” she asked, and Isaac’s blush deepened before he realized that she was teasing him, a glint in her eye giving it away.

Calling Scott was a habit she had weaned herself off of months ago, an impulse easy to stop because it was something she wanted to do so much, and she was no stranger to denying herself things.
Calling Stiles wasn't something she longed to do. It was something she did, just because, usually in response to him calling her first to ask stupid questions or check up on her or sometimes even apologize for stupid things he did. Their calls became sort of a nightly thing, a step to her routine. But that was back then. She hadn’t talked to him in months since. Or anyone really.
