Summary
“Dream,” George says, as soon as he can see the other. He’s breathless- he’s just grabbed Lucy from where she was chasing after Cat, and he settles her on his lap quickly. He spits it out before he gets too nervous and backs out. “Will you pretend to be my boyfriend for Christmas?”
Dream is silent for a count of eight- George ticks every second in his head. Then, slowly, Dream breaks into a grin.
“Hello to you too,” he says, laughing in that charming way, and God does George need to get his feelings under control if this is going to work. “Hello, Lucy.”
“Hi, Dream!” Lucy responds, waving at the computer screen. One of her hands comes up to rest on George’s chin, and she squeezes. He bats her arm down, and she pouts up at him.

“Hi, baby," a familiar voice cooed.
George smiled softly, nuzzling closer to the voice, Dream's voice, with a gentle rumbling in his throat. What a nice dream. He opened his eyes slowly to smile at Dream, but he let out a strangled yelp when he realized how big Dream was.
There's no way his mind would make him that big! There was no real reason for it.
As he looked up at Dream in shock, the taller man smiled, reaching down to pick him up. Wait, pick him up?
Dream spoke softly, still running his hands through George's hair. "You know, you remind me of my best friend George. Patches has been kind of lonely anyway... How do you feel about coming inside?"
What the fuck? No. Seriously. What the fuck?

After getting a package from a weird postman, George finds himself on the doorstep of one dreamwastaken. And obviously, Dream adopts him immediately, pampering him just like he does Patches.

Dream cuts class one too many times and finds himself shipped off to boarding school.
Arriving halfway into the school year, he’s assigned George as a roommate; it’s hate at first sight. But at the edges of their vitriol, a more complicated feeling lingers.-
Swiftly, Dream thrust out his hand to grab George’s tie. Grasping tightly, he wound it around clenched fingers and tugged slightly, leaving only scarce inches between their faces. Dream was right earlier, he does hold a significant height advantage, forcing George to look up at him. George’s eyes were blown wide, wideness born from surprise and fear alike, but an iota of unflinching pigheadedness lingered.

The man laughed, sounding not unlike a kettle, before saying in between wheezes, “No, no! I swear I won’t murder you! It’s just my southern charm.”
They looked at each other for another moment, chuckling lightly before George nodded. “Alright. I appreciate the help. I’ll let you take me to the ditch with minimal complaint.”
“Really?” The man said, already standing to offer George his hand. “Well, we should probably go quick. I’m gonna be late to visit my family!”

Clay was on his way to his family's house for Christmas break when he noticed a man stranded at a gas station. Feeling something move in his heart, he decides to take the cute British boy back to his house for the night. That is until they find a letter addressed to Clay from his grandfather.
