Summary
Chloe is in the hospital recovering from her poisoning, and Lucifer makes the impulsive decision to tell her that she's a miracle. The next totally logical step is for him to convince a doubting Chloe that he's the Devil.
Set in season 2, at the end of "A Good Day to Die," except that Lucifer doesn't leave, and there's no Candy Morningstar.

They'd talked about this the two of them when he'd told Chloe he was going to become God. And that he was sure that that would be the thing, that would be the one thing that would mean he wouldn't be burnt himself to a crisp at the gates of the Silver City but he would do it-
"Please…don't make me do this!"
"L-ook…after...T-Trixie."
"Please-"
"P-Promise!"
Surely he was dying too, the idea of making this promise was tearing him two, simultaneously wanting to go against her wishes and fulfil whatever she wanted, and it was a promise and he'd said before she-what a bloody fool!?- "I promise," those two words, a solemn vow shuddered out of him just as Chloe let out her last breath.
