Summary
Understanding people is something Alastor is not always skilled at. But while people can be challenging- their possessions are much easier to understand.
And so he collects. In his little nest of a bed in which he dwells, tucked into the corner of his room at the Hotel- that is where his collection lays. And because Charlie makes it a point to enforce the good manners of respecting one’s privacy- and likely because everyone is just a little scared of him- no one ever looks in his rooms. His collection is a secret kept only by himself.
It’s not a problem. He could stop any time, if he so wished.
But why would he stop when the taking is so much fun?
Or: In which Alastor is a creepy little fuck and steals trivial possessions of those he cares about. No one notices, until Lucifer does.

It wasn’t fair, was the point. And everyone was too busy not giving him the time of day to even tell him why they were playing this ridiculous game.

Summary
Canon divergence, a RadioApple What-if:
Lucifer is lonely, and Alastor is not as untouchable as he seems. A series of stories, woven together, that paint the existences of two broken men. Together, though, maybe things aren't so bad.
A ride of feelings, humor, character interactions, and found family, where Alastor gradually realizes that while he may be irredeemable, that doesn't make him unlovable. Lucifer will make sure that he knows he is loved.

Summary
He was going to get annoying and mopey over this though. For all his bravado, he cared. Deeply. And sometimes when all the care caught up to him, fog clouded his eyes. When he would get like that, the best she could do is try and be with him through it. Sit with him. Hum her new hymn. Get him to complain about said hymn. Stuff like that. The companionship helped. The fog would retreat, and she would be greeted with his clear eyes on her--always on her.
There were times, however, that he needed a little more than just her company. He needed a shock. And to shock him, the only thing she could do was to be more shameless than Mr. Shameless himself.
This was one of those times.
“If you’re so worried about it,” Cyan says, teasing, “then kiss it better.”
