Summary
Clear skies, white sands, loud crashing of near-crystalline blue waves against a willing shore, and Violet’s gaze hotter than the summer sun as it, thoroughly indulgent and utterly starving as though he were wearing the ravenous eyes of a dog that hasn’t eaten in days, drags across his bare skin.

“I am not asking you whether it was anything or not. I am asking you where she kissed you.”
“Jealous of me?” he murmurs. A pause; Violet tilts his chin upwards, pupils locked on him, and fills it with a taunting, “or perhaps-”
With the same movement he might push him against the flat of the bed he shoves him, back slamming the wall.
“-Of her?” Violet continues on a whisper, unabashed.

Summary
“You don’t have to,” Violet tells him.
He brings his hand to his lips, presses them against his knuckles with the same fluttering lightness he’d imagine if his wings were beating against his skin.
“I just want you to know for certain how my kind works. This isn’t something I want to do with anyone, you know.”

Summary
“You’d kill me, wouldn’t you?” Violet asked breathlessly. “If I obstructed your perfect future?” He tilted his head at the perfect angle for the moonlight to hit his scar, now a thin crescent moon running through his eye. He brought his free hand up to Pavel’s cheek and caressed it, lovingly, tauntingly, fingernails raking pale skin. “You would do anything to get me out of the picture.”
“....You say that, as though you wouldn’t do the same,” Pavel whispered, after a brief hesitation.
