Summary
If Nicole is the spiritual opposite of the stereotypical 2000s teenage girl, then Nick is the opposite of the stereotypical 2000s teenage boy. Where she's direct and brutal, has no tolerance for anything boys/men do, and is unapologetically manipulative, Nick is an asexual manipulator who simply doesn't have the emotional capacity for the violence and sexual perversion associated with the worst of men back then.
Growing up in a poor family that never loved him with a mother who killed both herself and any hope he had that life could work out for him, Nick has given up on anything but the momentary pleasures of fucking people over. Even though he's probably going to die before he reaches adulthood, at least he's attractive enough to girls that the high school world hands him everything he could possibly want.

Summary
No game pissed off Amai like Class of ’09. A second-year psychology student, the characters were everything wrong with the world and Nicole was a glaring representation of everyone she hoped to help. She loved the game, but hated how real it was, and the tragically fucked-up pixels had her muttering about how much better she would do in their place as she fell asleep.
God must have been bored out of his mind, because minutes later, she was standing in front of an imposing high school in attire much too professional for a teenager. Amai connected the dots immediately: she was being told to put her money where her mouth was.
Bad news: she was objectively unqualified for this job.
Good news: she would be the best thing to happen to this shitty parody of a school either way.
