Summary
Edward Nygma has a bad day and winds up in Arkham Asylum with a roommate he finds insufferable. Jonathan Crane does not like him, either, and Scarecrow attempts to murder him multiple times. After weeks of physical fights and arguing, they begin the see a similarity in wants and goals. They may be able to escape together. They may be able to work together to capture the Batman in an elaborate plan to take the city. They may have more wants than just villainous intent.

Side-note, this is kind of a mashup of several versions of Jonathan and Edward as well as individualistic ideas!

Summary
A brief passing, without knowing, of the two. The Riddler is injured, fleeing to a "safe-house" type hospital in The Narrows. It happens to be the same one that Crane works within, but their is no meet. Perhaps if his memory was as well as Edward's, Jonathan would have held a higher significance to this pass-by. Perhaps if Nygma had looked up, there would've been a look shared between them. However, neither know of their future, and the past is just a fleeting idea that time holds.
