(Claire would call them nightmares but that didn’t seem like the right word for something that was undisputedly reality, but that which happened a long time ago. And she’s always been of the opinion that the word dream has never been the right term for the sequence of events that replayed in her mind and tormented her as she slept. What she would rather call them instead she does not know, however, so she just sticks to dreams. It was just easier to refer to it that way anyways.)
