"They can't hear us," Johnny said dumbly, before watching the wildly devilish smirk that grew on Ponyboy's face.
"They... can't hear us." Pony's eyes glinted evil.
"Pones, c'mon—" but Johnny's whining was swiftly cut off my a mouth on his own. They were still for a very brief moment that felt much longer to Pony before they started moving wildly against each other.

“I didn’t mean to,” he said sheepishly, walking past Darry and into the bathroom. He wasn’t quite sure what he was going to do in the bathroom, per se, he just needed to go somewhere.
“‘I didn’t mean to,’ ‘I forgot,’—that’s all I ever HEAR from you!” Darry shouted, swinging the bathroom door open and staring directly at Pony. Then his eyes flit down to his neck, along the edge of his shirt collar. He blinked.

The Rito didn’t even deign to give the unconscious swordsman a glance.
“Hero or not, we’re not letting him off the hook just like that,” Revali’s voice climbed an octave. “He’s too dangerous— we saw what he’s capable of. We have to kill him while he’s still weakened!”
“We aren’t killing him,” Zelda asserted again. This time, she lifted her eyes. Her voice held a note of cautiousness, but it was still unshakeable.
“If we’re to even hope to defeat the Demon King, we need the hero on our side. We have to take him with us.”
[In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.]

Summary
Phoenix was unable to stay conscious, he would open his eyes, a different time would show through the window, and as soon as he woke, his head would fall back and he would be gone for another..few minutes? Hours? Days? He wasn't sure.
However, this time, he felt a soft gentle poke of his forehead.
He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't have the strength to swat at it. He groaned, the best he could do to ask the offending pressure to leave.
And then again, and again, and-
“What?” He groaned out, and finally, he opened his eyes and-
“H-holy sh-” his eyes widened, and he tried to move back, but the movement caused a cry to come out as he held onto the wound.
It was…a teenager? He wasn't sure, he wasn't a young kid, but definitely no older than 17. He had two weird hair strands sticking out of his hair.
(Zombie apocalypse au that follows the siblings relationship with Phoenix as he tries his best to keep them alive and hopefully find his group at the shelter or on the way)

He wasn't expecting to struggle with self-esteem.
Thankfully, his father is there for him, as always, and Phoenix (and Larry too, perhaps) will always believe in him and notice when things seem off.

I've done my best to cover more or less all the evidence pointing towards Narumitsu, from what we see in the games to what the anime added, to hidden hints in the expanded universe, out-of-universe events that support the ship and some meta/analysis thrown in for fun. Enjoy!
