Summary
Invisible to See is a novel set in JK Rowling's Harry Potter universe, exploring one possible future for some of the key characters. It was begun in November of 2002 and completed in December of 2003; as such the story was conceived without benefit of The Order of the Phoenix, and cleaves only to prior canon.
It is a swashbuckling tale of love, friendship, romance, redemption and vengeance, and of the messy business of coming to terms with the differences between who you are and who other people want you to be. Or, in other word, growing up. It is very, very, very loosely inspired by Pride and Prejudice, among other things.
This story is a very long way from being a PWP, but it does involve some explicit and enthusiastic shagging; however, the characters are all over the UK age of consent.

When he closes his eyes, he sees a portrait. The one of Laios, sat on his throne, dressed in his finery. Sometimes it feels like it’s painted inside his eyelids or framed somewhere on the back of his skull. It’s an image Kabru has always liked, ever since the day it got hung up. The king’s likeness captured near perfectly, with all his nervous edges buffed out. He looks like he belongs there.
Kabru hopes that when Laios is long gone, that is how he is remembered. -

Kabru finds his eyes glued to the video. Most people who defend monsters online, he’s found, know shit about them. They live in sheltered cities, far away from any actual dungeons, and the closest they’ve come to seeing a real monster is in an Elven-made VR game. They’ve never died from a basilisk’s fangs in their throat.
But this guy seems different.
Kabru taps over to the comment section of the video. Normally he avoids them, but this might actually be relevant to his research.

Spanning seven years and three continents, containing 496 uses of the word "fuck", multiple murders, several criminal acts, a couple of explosions, a large amount of violence and sex (often combined), an utter disregard of rules and morals, and somewhere in the middle of this something that almost looks like a happy and loving relationship.
