Chan growls at him, and Hyunjin near-blanches, because... what—what?
“Right,” he starts slowly. “Hyung, look, you know that I love you. You’re our leader, and I respect you greatly, and I know that you have this whole shtick of 'Wolfchan' and everything, but—but, I can’t lie, if you ever growl at me again, I’m going to have to file a complaint with the company, because what the hell was that?”
Hyunjin wouldn't say that he's an idiot. He's smart. He's aware. He's capable. And yet, for some reason, he has no idea at all how he has ended up in a world where 'packs' are synonyms for 'groups', 'heats' are something that he never wants to think about ever again, and growling is a totally acceptable form of communication.
In all honesty, he just wants to go home. He wants to pretend all of this is just a terrible dream. But most of all, he really, really wants everyone to stop trying to call him an omega.

Comments were flying across his screen after he'd spoken. There were things like "is it fun???" and "don't you get lonely? ☹" and then the occasional "what do u do during heats ㅋㅋㅋ"
"Well," he starts slowly—mindfully, almost. "It's—well, Seungmin is a beta too, of course, but—" he sucks in a breath, considering. "For me specifically, I think it's—definitely nice?"
Everyone knows that suppressants are damaging for omegas to take; forcefully subduing their secondary gender is something life-threatening.
Hwang Hyunjin has been on suppressants since he was 16.
