Summary
Asya lived with regret and self-loathing for most of her life. Despite being in her mid-thirties and leading a semi-successful career as a professor, she often found herself living in the distant past and contemplating everything that went wrong in it. There were so many mistakes she wished she could take back... so many things that were left unsaid... and she hated herself for wasting every opportunity she was given to make amends. Too much time had passed and old relationships faded away, and she no longer had any hope of getting another chance to fix everything... until a certain someone made a sudden reappearance in her life, forcing her to confront her past all at once.
Will she finally work up the courage to say what she should have said all those years ago? Will she be able to make amends for all the hurt she had inadvertently caused? Can she bear the thought of potentially being hated by someone for the rest of her life? It's up to her to decide if she wants to continue down her doomed predetermined path, or forge an entirely new one with a chance for a more hopeful and bright future.
