Summary
Set after the end of my By Arrow and By North series.
Two months into retirement, Athos and Claire have settled rather comfortably into life in the country. There are no secret missions, no court intrigues, and nobody is trying to kill them.
There is, however, a horse race.
Claire intends to win it.

Summary
Part XIV of my "By Arrow and By North" series.
Paris is running out of time. The Dauphin is missing, Claire is confined to an infirmary bed, Grimaud’s army is at the gates and the Musketeers have little left with which to stop him. As the city prepares for the final battle, everyone will be forced to decide what they are willing to sacrifice, and what will remain of France when the dust settles.
The Way Out is the final chapter of By Arrow and By North.

Six months have passed since Athos last saw Claire, and he has become very good at not thinking about her.

Summary
Part XII of my "By Arrow and By North" series.
With the King’s health failing and the question of the succession growing more urgent by the day, Cardinal Mazarin entrusts Claire with a secret mission: escort the newly revised royal testament out of Paris and make certain it reaches its destination unseen.
Simple enough. But Athos and the other Musketeers have learned by now that simple missions rarely stay that way.Series

“Raoul is a fine boy. Many a man, even kings, would pay their worth in gold for a son like him. Lucky for you, Monsieur le Comte, you have two of them. It is very unfortunate young Olivian couldn’t accompany you.” - Gaston, Duke of Orléans to Athos

My take on Aramis' life before the show begins.
I'm aiming for 15 very short chapters, and making it a series with the rest of the gang (a little too optimistic I think, but alas).01/June - COMPLETE
[i can only apologise how long this has taken]
Previously known as: 'Pre-Canon: Aramis'
