As if reading his mind, George shook his head mildly. “I’m awake. I’m just…um…” He gestured vaguely to his wrist, which Dream realized with a start that George was cradling to his chest protectively. “Can you help?”

Summary
Another gust of wind sweeps through the forest and George flinches, pulling his hood over his face as he waits for it to fade.
What am I even supposed to do? Where can I sleep? Everywhere is soaking wet.
. . .the human camped nearby usually has a fire lit at night, right?
As soon as the idea pops into his head, he knows it’s a stupid idea. But what other choice does he have? The cave will be dry and warm and he can just sneak inside and hide somewhere out of the human’s sight. It’s far less risky than trying to spend the night outside in the freezing cold.
.
George is a wild borrower, living in the woods instead of taking the risk of staying in a human's home. But when the approaching winter becomes a dangerous threat to his safety, he realizes that relying on a human might be the only way for him to survive the cold.

Summary
“THERE IT IS!” George watched as his friend ran to the ‘very real’ Hill that was presented before him. The angle just right to sled down at a controlled speed. No trees in the way, or bulges of snow that could hide potential hidden boulders. Completely flat and smooth from the fresh layer of powdered snow. Just as Sapnap described: The perfect Hill.
But something was off about it. George was positive he’d never seen a Hill like this before in all the time he’s been in the area. Not even in the warmer months of Summer could he recall a hill being so bare that snowed over it would look as good as this. But none of George’s inner concerns seemed to phase Sapnap, as his friend began to climb the Hill.

Tommy contemplated a little before nodding. He’d made great progress with Wilbur. Not needing a light on in the house as often anymore, and he really wanted to see this thing glow.

Wilbur was having a good day.
He was! Things were going well. The world was in order. His domain was running smoothly. He had just picked up his offerings from the main church and he listened in on their pretty songs they sang for him.
It was nice.
Until…
He felt a very strong pull. A very dark pull.
Wilbur felt rage fill him, eyes alight with angry flame.
He thought he had rid the world of cults. Of their dirty sacrifices that he never desired. They tried to tempt him with the blood of his people and meaningless suffering.
But it seemed another had formed and by the feeling coursing through his body…
It was a human sacrifice.
Or, god Wilbur gets sacrificed a small blond boy. Wilbur isn’t a fan of human sacrifices but he finds himself attached to the boy and continues to bless the boy until adoption.
If any CCS state they are uncomfortable with this kind of fic, then I will take it down!

Dream resolves to bury himself in books and his studies--to learn more about scriptures just like the revival book.
