Summary
This was actually written a year ago, and I never thought it would see the light, but here we are, 12 months later. This is on the occasion of the middle of June.
The summer is fading away. Both Dream and George are drowning in preparations, projects and videos. But one decision to slow down and unwind sparks something neither of them expected to start.

Summary
Another gust of wind sweeps through the forest and George flinches, pulling his hood over his face as he waits for it to fade.
What am I even supposed to do? Where can I sleep? Everywhere is soaking wet.
. . .the human camped nearby usually has a fire lit at night, right?
As soon as the idea pops into his head, he knows it’s a stupid idea. But what other choice does he have? The cave will be dry and warm and he can just sneak inside and hide somewhere out of the human’s sight. It’s far less risky than trying to spend the night outside in the freezing cold.

George is a wild borrower, living in the woods instead of taking the risk of staying in a human's home. But when the approaching winter becomes a dangerous threat to his safety, he realizes that relying on a human might be the only way for him to survive the cold.

“THERE IT IS!” George watched as his friend ran to the ‘very real’ Hill that was presented before him. The angle just right to sled down at a controlled speed. No trees in the way, or bulges of snow that could hide potential hidden boulders. Completely flat and smooth from the fresh layer of powdered snow. Just as Sapnap described: The perfect Hill.
But something was off about it. George was positive he’d never seen a Hill like this before in all the time he’s been in the area. Not even in the warmer months of Summer could he recall a hill being so bare that snowed over it would look as good as this. But none of George’s inner concerns seemed to phase Sapnap, as his friend began to climb the Hill.

George was always very curious and loved discovering new things. But when he himself is only 2 inches tall, he usually prefers to stay away from anything larger than a bush. Or if he was being more specific; Humans.
When you live in a world that’s 100x bigger than you, sentient beings 100x bigger with it are terrifying. He’d seen the destruction beings of such calibre could cause.
So when one appears in the clearing he'd been resting in, he only has one thought.

George is a tiny travelling the world after his friend, Sapnap left to go visit an old friend of his. He was chilling on a toadstool in a clearing when he's found by a Giant Dream who's setup camp nearby.

The skeleton fires again and George scrambles to the side, hands and feet skidding on the dirt path as he barely manages to dodge. He freezes when he hears the creeper let out another hiss, knowing that he isn’t going to be able to get far enough away before it explodes.
Something huge slams down in front of George and he yelps, jerking back and nearly falling over. In the flickering firelight he sees that it…it’s a boot, bigger than he is, probably even bigger than a ravager. He feels a shudder behind himself and twists around to see a second boot shift a bit as the giant adjusts their weight.
Because that’s what this has to be. A giant.

George gets lost in the woods. The two strangers who offer him help aren't quite what they seem.

George and Bad are pretty crummy borrowers. They've nearly gotten killed several times and on top of that have both been nearly spotted. So when the two finally find a brand new home that is practically perfect they find themselves easing up and becoming sloppier. Bad stays somewhat alert and notices something odd. The human has food laying out every night.Bad try's to voice his concerns to George but will he listen?
