"The whole gang is on this planet called Elgyn on a diplomatic mission sealing the peace between the planet and the rest of the Voltron Coalition after the fall of Zarkon, helping free some planets from the hands of a few Galra insurgents. Lance is pretending to listen to Hunk and Pidge talk to one of the leaders about their lunar technology, but his eyes were always seeking the black haired man across the room and damn, he was looking fine with that slightly sheer red tunic, black fitting pants and -the cherry on top in Lance’s opinion- a black choker. Lance just wanted to bite his neck so badly it hurt and Keith knew it."
This is a fic where they have a secret relationship for a few months and Lance is dying to touch Keith but can't because he thinks Keith isn't ready to show their relationship to the world.

Summary
Keith has always lived his life by a few simple rules that boil down to one ultimatum: never let the fey know he’s an ironblood. The byproduct of the rare union between a fey and a human, he’s seen as dangerous. Able to harness the power of his fey bloodline without the drawbacks that keep them in check. He doesn’t remember much of his life before Shiro found him, but things have been pretty good since. Despite the fact that his guardian-turned-brother-figure is a fey, his best friend is a druid, and his dog is a blink wolf, his life is pretty ordinary.
That is, until he runs into a beautiful fey with eyes like ice and a touch like fire. A fey that makes him want to break the rules and calls out to a part of him that’s remained shrouded for so long. With their lives irrevocable intertwined, drawn to one another despite all the warnings, they’re set on a path that threatens to destroy who they are and save who they might become.
The course of love never did run smooth.

Summary
He can’t even justify it as desperation. If he were well and truly desperate to move out of Shiro’s place, it would have happened by now. He’s had other options, he’s had people offer, it’s not like he’s backed into a corner and living out of his car. But if it’s not desperation, what exactly is it? A sick, morbid type of curiosity to know Lance better, to expose himself to the same hurt he’s already felt by getting attached to the other boy? Is it still attraction pulling him in like a moth to a flame, despite all that’s happened and how he knows they’re a terrible match? He isn’t sure.
He does, however, catch himself pulling on his best outfit before stepping out the door to go and meet Lance in the park. So maybe that’s an answer in itself.
