Aethelflaed is pregnant before she takes the throne in Mercia. She does not vow chastity because of this. She will keep the power and throne, but Uhtred will rule alongside her. And one day when the kingdom passes to her daughter, hopefully she and Uhtred will return to his lands in the north, to Bebbanburg. Disregard any canon battles that are to happen late S4. Starts canon then diverges.

Summary
They have always saved each other. That has been the way of it. Although if Aethelflaed was being honest with herself, it was usually Uhtred who did the saving. Perhaps that should bother her, but it does not. He has been longer for this world, and is a warrior both in action and at heart. He does not need help as often as she, by both status of birth and status of gender, but just as she knows that she can depend on him, she also knows that he can depend on her.

Straightforward as Darcy is, the words pop out before she can give herself a chance to filter them. "So, thinking we've reached the part of the night where I make you so uncomfortable you leave fast enough for one of those cartoon clouds of smoke to trail behind you." It isn't a question so much as a statement.
Oddly enough, Bucky takes it in stride. "Actually, my feet are gonna spin really fast in place before the inertia shoots me down the hall," he says, pointing to his door about four away from hers.
Darcy has difficulty suppressing a smile, which reflects back at her in the tension it seems to suck out of Bucky's body.
"Night, old man," Darcy says as she opens her door, rather than drawing out the conversation.
"Night, doll," Bucky replies quietly.

He relaxes at that, actually smirking a bit. “And you still didn’t recognize me until now? I’m wounded,” James says.
“To be fair, you’re wearing a lot of eyeliner,” Darcy says. “And I’ve just been through a very traumatizing situation, so.” She says it with a heavy dose of haughty sarcasm so he knows she’s not overly serious.
“Uh huh,” James says, but he’s smirking. Steve still looks a bit wary as he sits down next to James, but not like he’s going to step in. Good, she’d hate to be lectured by the symbol of American freedom. “These better be complimentary memes.”

Hi everyone! I’ve never written a fanfic before but I really wanted to write something after binging The Chilling Adventures season 2. So this was written right when the episodes came out but I couldn’t post it until I made an account, so if anyone else has already written something similar sorry! Just some smut and fluff between Sabrina and Nicholas Scratch from Chapter 14-Episode 3 Lupercalia.
