Giyuu is widely disliked by the Hashiras, but the ones with the strongest feelings towards him?
Kocho Shinobu and Shinazugawa Sanemi.
Hate is a strong word, that's why its being used. They despise him and his presence. Though, slowly, things seem to shift. That burn of hatred turns into a burn in their hearts whenever the water pillar is around. Giyuu, ofcourse, is oblivious. Though his skin tingles at each touch, every argument, he cant seem to understand those feelings and dismiss it as annoyance, so do Sanemi and Shinobu.or
Will Kocho and Shinazugawa fight for Giyuu's love or bond over their hatred for him?

Summary
“I think getting through to this one will take patience, Sanemi, but you must be persistent. I need you to try again and again until this child can see the world for what it is—a beautiful place worth living in.”
Dread twists uncomfortably in his gut. Is he talking about the Tokito kid? He does seem depressed—or, well, he did. He’s been differently lately. Lighter. The dull look in his eyes seems to have lifted. So, probably not him.
“Understood, Oyakata-sama,” he says. “I will be patient, and I will be persistent.”
“I know you will, Sanemi. You have a kind heart.”
Well, Sanemi wouldn’t go that far, but sure.
“Please, Sanemi, vow to me that you will never stop trying with this one. Even if I am no longer here to see it.”
The words hit Sanemi hard, and he swallows. “I swear it, Oyakata-sama.”
The master seems to sink in relief.
“It is Giyuu,” the master says softly, and Sanemi stiffens in shock. “He is the one I worry for. He has lost his will to live.”
OR:
What if, instead of Tanjiro, Sanemi was the one to check on Giyuu?

Summary
One simple sentence and his whole world had changed. Everyone around him had changed. The only thing that hadn’t changed was Sanemi. How disgusting he was. How utterly perverse his feelings were for another man. Sanemi was tearing apart at the seams. The very seams that Giyuu had placed within him. Sewing up all of Sanemi’s broken pieces with his love, his being.
How could that be so wrong? How could something as beautiful as his and Giyuu’s love be wrong? Giyuu took an ugly and broken man and chose to love him. Chose to put all of his grotesque pieces back together. Chose to heal his monstrous wounds and look at him with adoration in his eyes as if he was beautiful. How could that be wrong? To look down on Sanemi for the vile monster he truly was is one thing, but to look at Giyuu like that was another. Giyuu the most gorgeous and enchanting person that has ever walked the earth. Yet, now they looked at him as if he were anything but. As if Sanemi had made him as vile and monstrous as he himself was.
