Summary
Ash had betrayed him, after all. Not in the flashy way, where he went and killed him or did something to hurt him (not physically, that was saved for their more intimate moments). But in the more subtle way, where he refused being his anything. The way he denied anything between them, the way he denied this. The nights spent together, whether it be in peace and war. And that hurt more than anything Ash could do to him.
