He’s killing it as Spider-Man, as a university student, and he’s feeling like he’s finally found his footing in life. He’s left the past behind. Of course Miguel O’Hara would fall out of the fucking sky–literally–and mess it all up. Miguel’s mysterious appearance drags old demons out of hiding, and reminds Miles of things he’d rather forget. Of sureties that never came.
Every Spider-Man’s story is his own. But the Canon is evolving; nothing is clear anymore. How many times can someone achieve the impossible? How long can anyone run before fate catches up?
