“‘Re you ev’n breathin?” He says against George’s lips.
George flushes and scrunches his eyebrows. “Duh.” He tries to sound harsh and bitey, but it comes out softer than he’d like. He kisses harder in retaliation.
Dream laughs against him and god it does something evil to the brunet's heart.

Summary
George doesn’t remember the moment he fell in love with Dream.
What he remembers is the way they spoke to each other, soft into their mics. The way 2019 melted into winter. How the winter dragged into spring. How suddenly time stopped. He remembers Dream as some faceless, flickering form of light. He remembers love like burning. His mum, trying her best to understand. His world, shrinking into the four walls of a flat he never even wanted to move into.
And through it, Dream.
He remembers Dream.

Summary
One night, when he’s pulling his shirt over his head to change for bed, he realizes that George’s scent assaults his senses most when the shirt is pressed to his face.
When he presses it to his nose, breathing in deep, he gets nothing but George. The smell isn’t just barely there in a way it would be from a casual touch, or from them sitting beside each other for several hours. Instead, the shirt reeks of nothing but George. Of the outdoors-y smell Dream can never quite identify mixed with the smell of something sweet that always just escapes him on what exactly it is.
It suddenly clicks in Dream’s mind that George has been fucking scenting him. That every time he’s casually touched Dream in passing, he’s been rubbing the scent glands on his wrist against any part of him he could reach. With how strong the shirt smells, and with the context of how often he’s found himself wondering why George’s scent just won’t go away, he knows it’s intentional. That George has been going out of his way to make sure Dream reeks of him, and that others have surely noticed by now.
