    Summary

Your new neighbour and Spider-Man have the same unfortunate habit of saying just enough to make you suspicious, but never enough to explain why.

Still, coincidence is not evidence. Similarities prove nothing.

And two plus two only equals four when you can show your work.

    *Finished Editing November 2025*

The Civil War was over. What once was a strong group of legendary heroes is no longer, and Tony is left to pick up the pieces on his side of life. And with fewer numbers, he's not taking any chances in terms of security. And as for Peter... He's relaxing, and nobody's stopping him after the events of homecoming. Everything is about to come crashing down when a mysterious and deadly HYDRA agent, (y/n), is caught during a mission. She's dangerous and calculated, with the power of possessing countless armors and weapons at her disposal.

Life is sent spiraling out of order as she is forced into a life she never saw herself in. And on top of that, she's tasked with training the newest member of what's left of the Avengers, and neither she nor Peter are thrilled. But along the way, she did something she never thought she could do... She learned everything life had to offer. She starts to find herself, and Peter is there for every second of it.

No sex or rated R gore. It's actually 56 chapters.

I don't own Marvel or any of the characters owned by them. Your powers are inspired by Erza Scarlet (for those Fairy Tail fans out there), with my twist to it.

    Summary

Everything you heard about matters of heart and desire told you the same thing; love could lead to heartbreak at best and disastrous results at worst.

Yet, you were convinced that everyone was wrong. They had to be, because love was supposed to make everyone happier, no confusion or pain in sight.

Regardless of how naive it sounded, you were sure that you were ready to fall in love and lose yourself in the infamous bliss.

That assumption right there was a terrible mistake, though.

    You were nowhere near ready.

    Summary

Contrary to what everyone in the ton claimed, marriage was an ugly game and love was a fool’s deception used as a cover to hide that truth.

You could see it very clearly, even when those around you could not.

In your opinion, anyone who believed in the existence of love was either naïve or pitiful and you were neither of those. If this was indeed a game, you were going to win it, regardless of how many feelings were hurt in the process.

People called it heartless. You called it smart.

Love was a plague on people’s hearts, a lie at best and a trap at worst, and you were determined not to let it catch you off guard ever. Even the night before your debut to the society, you laid in bed wide awake, repeating your plan in your head over and over again until the shadows of the night were chased away by the first rays of the sunlight.

But the ironic thing about that perfect plan of yours?

Life had a different one in the works.
