"Sure enough, Perlica can handle herself," the Endministrator decided not to address the second part of his statement, considering Wulfgard didn't mean a single word of it, if his tail was of any indication. "I made sure to stay on the trail. Even Chen would have been able to find back her way back."
If Wulfgard thought otherwise, no diverging word came out to disprove his assertion. Instead, he was now trailed by the Lupo, walking toward the cliff as the scenery opened in front of them, the mountainous landscape stretching as far as his eyes could see under the illuminated moon. It was a beautiful night, rewarding them for their overall victory.

Instead, he found it fine to indulge Martha for once before leaving her side not to become a third wheel.
It was fine; Martha had talked about that girl for so long Naib wasn’t surprised when he saw her observing that medium-haired woman standing by the large veranda. With a push on the back and some encouragement, the younger woman was gone and him left alone.
Time to drink, he had supplied to his brain by initiating the move before he could think of anything else.

The person on the other side immediately paced the call, thankfully for him, and he quickly found himself overwhelmed by the numerous informations and overly polite speech of his interlocutor.
All he could get was, "I am afraid, Sir, that you forgot some of your belongings the last time you booked a room. We set them aside for you to retrieve at the counter by the end of the week." Reki's eyes widened comically as Langa looked over him when he heard Reki coughing loudly. Langa's eyebrows furrowed and Reki quickly sent him an 'ok' hand as to say that everything was under control, which wasn't honestly the case.
It was the love hotel staff calling.
