There was a little pause, rustling static or the shuffle of clothes, Reigen couldn’t guess, before a voice answered. A familiar voice, gruff and masculine. “Can I request an Emergency Devil Expulsion at this time?”
Reigen blinked with a little more focus. “Of- of course. It’s for emergencies.” The words fell out of his mouth before he registered the voice on the phone. Reigen had met this man before. He’d paid for an Emergency Devil Expulsion then too. Reigen has regulars, the same people coming in for the same problems. But that was for spirits. No one came to him with a devil-hunting job twice.
