Summary
“You?” Miranda asked, eyes slightly widened. “You’re a teacher?”
“Yes, I teach the fifth grade here at Dalton.”
Miranda let out a scoff before taking a glance down her frame. Images of all of the 20-something year old girls Miranda’d had to endure over the last few years, courtesy of her ex-husband’s salacious whims, flashed across her eyes. Bimbos, air-heads, stupid - every one of them. The woman - no, girl - now sitting in front of her could barely coordinate the various textures and patterns within a single outfit. How on Earth was she to believe this Andy was qualified to teach at the school or provide advanced instruction to her nine-year-old daughters?
And what kind of a name was Andy?
~
Andrea Sachs is the beloved 5th grade teacher at The Dalton School in New York City, where Miranda Priestly’s twins attend. When Miranda wants the especially studious twins to skip a grade, Ms. Sachs offers to give them advanced lessons to fill in the gaps.
As Miranda and Andy are forced to spend more time together, will they be able to look past hastily-formed first impressions to see what lies beneath?

“I heard an interesting rumour at the office a few days ago,” Miranda said as she turned the pages of the Book without looking at Andy. Andy felt alarmed suddenly; she hadn’t heard any rumours and usually all the office gossip she immediately got from Serena. Miranda lifted her eyes and tilted her head ever so gently. “Apparently we are dating.”

Summary
"So, Miranda, I want to know everything! Let's start with this; what do you think about Paris Fashion Week this year?"
Miranda swallowed hard.
The question itself wasn't out of place, in fact it was one that she knew would be asked often in upcoming interviews. Still, chocolate doe-eyes appeared in her mind for a split second, and a sharp twinge in her heart quickened her heart rate. The knowledge that she would never see them again weighed heavily on her, but she did her best to push those thoughts to the back of her mind. The last thing she needed now was another nervous breakdown and a wave of tears.
"It couldn't have gone any better."
