Summary
People look at Richie different now, talk to him different. Care about him too much, at times, make him sick with how much they care about him. In a good way. It’s scary as fuck, being seen. But good. It’s good.
It’s Christmas now, and it’s so good. It reminds Richie of last year, reminds him of his darkest moments, yes, but it also reminds him of everything that’s changed since then. How far he’s come. So that’s good, too.

Summary
Eddie opened his eyes finally; the bright light was jarring and sent a stabbing pain straight through his skull. He grimaced, squinting his eyes closed as he adjusted to the daylight streaming through the trees. Part of him had expected it to be dark, but he wasn’t entirely sure why.
He must be laying on a rock, because there was a stabbing pain against the middle of his back, and the unpleasant pressure of the handle of his bike crammed against his chest.
Richie’s stupid face came into view next, his hair long and wild and thick glasses magnifying his eyes.

Summary
Eddie is so much different than Richie initially thought. Richie knows he was unfairly harsh on him in the first twenty-four hours of meeting him, but in his defense, his job is literally on the line and Eddie has all the power in the world to put an end to his career. But Eddie is . . . he’s funny as hell, for one. He can match Richie insult for insult, and the fact still stands that he is one hundred percent Richie’s dream man.
