Summary
Harry Potter grows up in the Dark Lord's rapidly expanding empire. Against all odds he is safe, happy and much too clever. Raised to be a loyal subject, he dreams of fame, glory and to one day earn the notice of Lord Voldemort. As the cracks in the regime begin to show and Harry grows ever more ambitious, he is entirely unprepared for what it means to truly draw the Dark Lord's attention.

Summary
“Harry Potter,” Voldemort said, and there was something strange in his voice now. “What exactly do you think you’re doing?”
Harry felt his face heat up, but he didn’t back away. “You want a body. I can give you one.”
“Oh, can you?” He tilted his head, as if examining a particularly interesting insect. “And you, The Boy Who Lived, now want to… help me come back?”
It seemed like a rhetorical question, but Harry wanted to answer anyway. “Yes.”
Voldemort laughed again, this time more quietly. “Naive.” Quirrell’s hand, pale, almost translucent, reached out in a strange movement that seemed to hurt, to touch Harry’s face, as if he were a child saying something silly. “You have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Harry has always been strange, even by wizarding standards. So it's very easy for him to become obsessed with “He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named” since the first time he read about it, isn't it?

Summary
Harry’s sixth year of Hogwarts began as one would expect.
The war was raging, but the school was still a safe haven for students. They went to classes, played Quidditch, and caused drama that only teenagers could create.
Friendships fluctuated, and new crushes fluttered like butterflies in hormonal bodies.
There was a new professor, old friends, private lessons with Dumbledore and a new mystery, this time in the form of Draco Malfoy.
Harry could only blame his obsession with Malfoy, for being the reason he was tricked into taking the portkey.
He was vindicated that he was right about the other boy. Malfoy was working for Voldemort, but he wished he could have confirmed his suspicion without falling straight into Voldemort’s hands.
Harry was pulled and picked apart by the monster, his very identity shred to pieces, only for Voldemort to rearrange him as he saw fit.
(Or, there is a monster inside Harry that only one being was capable of enticing out, and the monster relished in it’s freedom.)
