“I don’t know,” Yeonjun whispers quietly, like he’s cautious. Unsure. “A little scared, I think.”
“Why?”
“Well, I don’t actually... know you.”
Soobin laughs, despite the reality. It’s funny when he thinks about it hard enough. This is the man he married a year ago, fell in love with years before, but he doesn’t remember.

i just think ac!yeonbin will forever haunt me. i always find myself coming back to this sequel and rereading their scenes on the main fic like crazy (srsly i've read antichrist 3 years ago and the "he thinks he's third" scene still lingers in my head like i have that specific scene memorized fr) this yeonbin is just so close to canon yeonbin's overall dynamic like i find it rly amazing that the author managed to capture the depth and complexities of their relationship even tho they're NOT a yeonbin author and they made it feel so #real too like ??? the tension is just so palpable it's insane.
this is def one of the best yeonbins i've read on ao3 and they're not even the main ship here 😭
also fun fact: when i first came across this fic i wanted to read it so bad bcs it looked exactly like the fic i've been craving for that it pushed me to FINALLY read antichrist after contemplating for so long so yeah... i basically read ac for yeonbin but fell inlove with all of the ships anyway

one of the best fics in the txt tag fr like the worldbuilding and premise ???? ABSOLUTE CINEMA. also i will always be a sucker for hurt/comfort and this one just hit all the right spots AAAA dont get fooled by the tags this is a lot softer than it seems :D literally my comfort fic. i fucking love yeonbin it hurts
