Summary
Dean Winchester has owned and operated Book Haven for the last six years since his mother fell ill. Before Dean, she was the proprietor, as her father before her. The book store has been a landmark in the old part of the city for three generations. They have many loyal customers who often come in for a good book, some local gossip (courtesy of Charlie), and a friendly face. Lately, Dean’s business has been threatened with the encroaching presence of a new, mammoth, Garrison Books branch opening barely a stone’s throw from his (admittedly fantastic) window displays. To top it off, the CFO of said behemoth, one Castiel Novak, is possibly the most infuriating, self-righteous asshole that Dean has ever had the misfortune to meet. At least he has his loyal staff, weekly calls from his hotshot lawyer little brother and a budding something with a stranger on the internet he knows only as angelofthursday…

Summary
An excerpt from a project I have been working on for a little while. I didn't want to post anything definitive just yet. I have a terrible track record for abandoning fics and I don't want to leave you guys hanging if this doesn't get finished.
But I hope I do stick with it because if I do this is surely to be one of the most ridiculous things I have ever written.
It's based (somewhat loosely) on the movie You've Got Mail, starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. It's easily my favourite romcom of all time, and one day about a month ago, I had the notion that it would make a cute Destiel au.
So for now, please enjoy this very small piece of this soon to be enormous pie.

Summary
Dean wakes up to discover that he's missing some of his memory. Waking up next to his best friend complicates things a little. (aka the one where Dean breaks his brain and loses two weeks and it just happens to be the two weeks during which he and Cas get their shit together). Also Sam is constantly 1000% done with them.
*SPOILERS*
Takes place sometime around season 9, but Sam was never possessed by Gadreel and Cas doesn't get his grace back.

The best part about Castiel’s day is going to work among the books.
That is, until the mechanic walks through the door.

Summary
There is a race that takes place every year in Alaska called the Iditarod, a thousand mile journey across the Alaskan wilderness by dog sled team that has come to be known as "The Last Great Race on Earth”. It is a test of endurance, of the relationship between dogs and their people, traversing mountain ranges, frozen rivers, forest and tundra.
When writer Castiel Milton is forced to spend two and a half months in Alaska at Winchester Kennels to cover the race preparations and the Iditarod itself, the only person more dismayed than he is Dean Winchester, one of his hosts. Castiel views his assignment as a punishment and is less than impressed by his surly host, and Dean distrusts the sheltered city-born writer who has invaded their home and their lives. But soon, as the Winchesters prepare for their race and Castiel learns about sled dogs and what a musher’s lifestyle is all about, they forget to hate each other and their relationship evolves into something neither of them expected.

Summary
Sam and Jess are getting married and Dean couldn’t be any happier for them. Honestly, they’re kind of disgustingly perfect for each other and Dean’s pretty damn excited about staying with them the week before the wedding. He’s Sam’s best man, of course, and he doesn’t even mind that Jess has her own best man to share in all the organisational duties. The more the merrier, right?
Except Dean must have done something to epically piss off the universe because Jess’s best man just happens to be Castiel friggin’ Novak. He’s got even hotter since High School, but apparently no friendlier and if Cas wants to spend the week pretending like they’ve never met before? Fine. Two can play at that game.

Summary
Dean, feverish and unsteady since he touched the First Blade, collapses in the middle of the hunt for Abaddon. Sam calls on Castiel, who can tell them only that something is very wrong with Dean’s soul—and that the other angels can sense it. As the Mark of Cain grows bigger and uglier and his dreams get weirder, an increasingly sick and pissed-off Dean chafes against Castiel’s hands-on brand of concern and his strained relationship with Sam.
Kevin, meanwhile, may be dead, but he and his mother have a plan anyway, and Dean might be the guy to make it happen.
