    “Oh fuck off,” Jaskier says, but it was more of a whine than anything. “Of course you’re Geralt’s brother, because destiny hates me or something. So which one are you? Lambert?”

    “You’re Geralt’s bard,” Lambert, it’s definitely Lambert says.

    Jaskier and Lambert are both nearing rock bottom when fate and a bar fight draws them together. Jaskier's angry and grieving after Geralt leaves him behind on a mountain.
