The woman's mouth goes thinner for a moment. Then the corner of her lip curls up into a small smile. She pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
“Is he a vampire, too?”
Gerard blinks, then he finds himself laughing. “Not as much. More of a werewolf.”
