If someone had told Angel ten years ago he was making a mistake by marrying Valentino, he would’ve laughed in their face. Even if he hadn’t, nothing would’ve prepared him for a life where his ability to smile, keep his mouth shut, and pretend everything was perfect in the public eye was the determining factor in if he made it through the day.
As a celebrity prop for Vee Enterprise’s image and his hand forced to take part in a criminal operation that went up higher than most people could ever conceive, Angel knew better than anyone there was no way out. But, maybe he really did have more in common with the patrons and staff at a specific hotel Vox hated than he thought. Especially the one employee that he just can’t stop running into.
Now, after years of playing the lead in a love story for countless cameras, Angel can't help but wonder if he's finally stumbled into a real one.
