Summary
Erwin is tired of his boring life at the top. His relationship just ended, and unfortunately, it didn't mean much to him anyway. The corporate world is tiring, boring and fake. Desiring a partnership deep-down, he wants more than the world he is stuck in has to offer. With everything but love within reach, he seeks companionship.
Levi is working the streets after a friend puts him onto it when he lost his job. Trying to make ends meet and look after the friends he calls family in his life, he is doing his best with the hand life has dealt him. Things have never been easy for him, so when good fortune lands in his lap, he can't help but question all of it.
Heavily inspired by Pretty Woman. (I love that movie so much)

At first, Erwin doesn’t recognize him.
When they break into the cell, there’s a stench like death, overwhelming, cloying at his throat, burning at his eyes. Underneath, there’s the smell of human excrement. Shit and piss and vomit.
They find him there, lying, chained to the floor, and Erwin doesn’t know it’s him.

Levi is taken prisoner when he exchanges himself for Erwin in Paradis' war against Marley. Imprisoned and tortured an entire year, he's eventually rescued by Erwin and Hange. Only Levi is unrecognizable to either of them, starved and brutalized. The road to recovery will be anything but easy.
