SCRAPPED WORK
Will be re-written.
Two years after A'alish joins the Priory and finds stability in his life, Kralkatorrik awakens and puts it all at risk. Powerless on his own, he watches as those he loves work to mobilize and in doing so, he fears losing them for good. But there is strength in camaraderie, and in the years leading up to the formation of the Pact, he learns just how capable he is of forging new bonds and protecting those he cares for. He simply has to learn to let go of his old isolation.
**Abscission follows A'alish as he lets go of his past self and past trauma and how he steps into his new life bit by bit.**

Summary
Sylvari are created with intention with the Pale Mother guiding them. The world expands before them in a beautiful dream, readying them for their first steps, but the Dream is fed by the experiences and memories of those living. Perhaps it was the trauma of the Second Born, or perhaps it was sheer chance, but for ten years, A’alish has kept the burden of his position buried within. Ten years of self loathing, resentment, and hatred like a festering wound.
For the first time, he’s found someone not only similar in circumstance but also insistent on helping and in a powerful enough position to make good on his aid.
**Marcescence centers around the possibility of transgender Sylvari and exploring how a Sylvari might not have been born into the body they dreamed of. It includes misgendering typical of someone being in the closet rather than malicious. This is a story of healing. Of finding community. Of facing fears. This is A’alish’s transition into becoming his true self in body, mind, and soul.**

Summary
A meandering narrative following the Oh No, Not Again, her eclectic crew, and her captain.
Captain Emory McArthur considers his greatest flaw to care too much. His First Mate, Tabitha Cole, and veteran of the war against Hell, completely agrees. He would take anything on without regard for his own safety but, fortunately, draws the line at the safety of his crew. This includes one young person with a rash, one devil with a bounty on him, a clay man who looks particularly tragic, and a man who is only mostly not a mushroom within the span of a year but, to the ship cat's relief, not an engineer with things that pretend to be cats. ... Yet.
The narratives for some of the canon crew (such as the Driver and the Conductor) take a different turn than their canon plotlines, while the narratives for others (such as the Repentant Devil) follow more closely. Canon narratives are... more like guidelines.

Summary
A small series of short stories involving a particular Correspondence Scholar and their infernal relationships.
I will be posting what the brain worms compel me to write all in one work rather than a series of short works. And now that I'm bored, we're done here.

Summary
Work is COMPLETE! BOO YAH!
This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together.
Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! AH BIG MONSTER!" You're welcome.
Fun fact: I played the game in French, so I have ZERO HANDLE on how their dialog sounds in English. *Finger guns and skates off into the sunset*
*This is a grammatically LAX fic. We die like confused highschoolers before the AP English test.

Summary
Höllvania, late fall, 1999. The Hex have been through these motions before. They may not remember all of them, exactly, but they remember the last time. The ball dropping in the most nuclear sense. A Drifter, dragged through time and space, had managed to pull them free of one hellscape but into another. Now, they could remember. They could see time curling in on itself. With the end of the year looming, all the Hex steeled themselves for yet another kick at the can. Maybe stopping the reactor going critical would help them escape the time loop?
Or, maybe, there's a better option?

Summary
Anne and Gilbert have been in each other's orbit since Anne arrived in Avonlea. Dance practice stirs up feelings neither of them realized were deep within. From there events unfold a little differently from how we expect.
(Basically, I'm very disappointed in the two final episodes particularly—but I also think there would have been more depth to their friendship considering Anne was always over at the Blythes' house learning from Mary and then helping Marilla with Delphine.)
P.S. Thank you Shakespeare for the title (from The Tempest).

Summary
When his dearest friend begins to succumb to the beastly scourge, Quincy is willing to be ripped apart by a mindless beast if it means he can provide some comfort to Alfred by staying by his side as he changes.
Quincy expected a painful fight and an inevitable mercy killing, not the risk of being snuggled to death by Yharnam’s newest and friendliest beast. For once, the near constant strangeness of Yharnam is becoming a bit silly
---
A very silly au one shot that starts off rather serious. Alfred turns into a giant, friendly beast and the Hunter has to deal with getting him to safety and being lovingly slobbered on.Bookmarked by senatorwiggles
