Summary
Charlie doesn’t have a thing for French guys. He doesn’t think. It’s just that he tends to fall for the same type of person.
The first time happens when he’s still a kid. His teacher sets up a penpal exchange with a French school, and Charlie gets paired up with a wonderful boy called Nick. Charlie ends up falling in love with him even though they've never met.
The second time happens years later, after Nick and Charlie have lost contact. Charlie is in uni and he desperately needs a French tutor to help him pass. A charming half-French boy called Nick volunteers, and Charlie falls in love again.
Maybe Charlie does have a thing for French guys. Half-French guys called ‘Nick,’ to be specific.

Summary
“Woah!” A deep voice brings him back to life as Regulus removes his headphones and places them around his neck, shouldering his bag. “I’m so sorry! Are you okay?”
The man was about 5 inches taller than Regulus. He had warm brown skin with circle frame glasses and unruly dark messy hair. It resembled a bird's nest, Regulus thought. The man had a camera around his neck and a bag almost like Regulus’, but red instead of green.
The man looked at him with knitted eyebrows and shock on his face. “I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying attention because I was so caught up in a message my friend sent me and - oh gosh I’m probably late for class!” The man looked at his watch and then at Regulus. “Oh shit! I’m sorry about your sweater! It’s really nice, fuck now it has coffee all over it I-”
Regulus interrupts the man’s rambling because someone had to. “It's fine.” Regulus nods.
The man clears his throat, “Er, I’m James.” The man - James, extends his hand.
