Summary
Right as Buck reached the curb, he heard a very familiar voice call out his name. He turned with a grin on his face and a greeting for Christopher on the tip of his tongue. His eyes glanced to Eddie and-
Oh.
Oh.

Summary
“You okay?”
Buck freezes, heart jumping right up to his throat. He turns a little too quickly, nearly knocking him off balance before a hand shoots out, wrapping around his bicep to steady him. Buck blinks up at Eddie and all the fight bleeds out of him as he throws himself into Eddie’s arms.
“Oh god,” he wheezes as he chokes back a sob, “Eddie, I—I’m so sorry!”
He feels Eddie’s hands — strong, steady, and warm — wrap around him before he is unceremoniously shoved backwards. Buck feels all the air punch out of his lungs when his back hits the firetruck.
“Who the hell are you?”
Buck’s mouth falls open as he looks at Eddie. As he looks at the person that knows him better than anyone else in the world. The person that he loves with every fiber of his being. He looks at Eddie and realizes that Eddie has no idea who he is.

Summary
“How’d you get the black eye?” If Eddie is aiming for a casual tone, he’s missing it by a mile.
Buck fakes a dumb grin. “Ah, some neighborhood kids were playing catch with a baseball, and one of them has one hell of an arm, let me tell you. This bruise is proof that that kid is going to the major leagues one day.”
Eddie’s eyes are still glued to the black and blue coloring around Buck’s eye, and he tries not to twitch under the scrutiny.
“...Right.”

Summary
“Great news, you're not pregnant!”
Hen choked and Buck all but fell off the bed, as his head whipped towards the doorway, which was pretty stupid of him he had to admit. His head was still sore, as it turned out. Not that he'd admit it.
Dr Clara Morrison, looked up, from the chart in her hand and met his eyes. “Oh, fuck. Wrong patient.” He heard her mutter under her breath.

Bobby is actually just as dumb as everyone else on the team. Buck scores another hospital visit. The team wishes Buck had a brain to mouth filter. Athena laughs at them all. Oh, and Buck isn't creating new life

Summary
“Hi, doll.”
Ice pours into Maddie’s veins. She jerks her head in the direction of the voice, praying she’s just hallucinating after a long shift –
She’s not hallucinating. There, standing beside the dining room table, is the one person she hoped she’d never have to see again.
“Doug,” she rasps.
And then she takes in the rest of the scene.
Buck is sitting in a chair at Doug’s side. Duct tape is plastered over his mouth, his cheeks bulging in a way that means he must have something stuffed inside his mouth to further silence him, and his arms are pulled behind him and around the back of the chair, so he’s obviously restrained somehow. His eyes are wide and panicked, but he hasn’t moved an inch – probably because of the gun pressed against his temple.
