I know that it’s not an easy adjustment to make, but I’ve noticed some—” He purses his lips as he considers his next words. “—patterns of behavior between the two of you since I found Akechi again.” At that, he feels Haru stiffen.
Akechi looks up with a suspicious little glare. “What sort of ‘patterns of behavior’?”

Her already unsteady heartbeat picks up rapidly at the illusion of eye contact. On the screen, Akechi stretches, arching his back with intention in an exaggerated curve that highlights the dip of his small waist into his ass, covered by his neat slacks. When he opens his eyes again, he’s still looking at the camera with an expression that is both smug and disdainful.
Akechi knows about the hidden cameras. And he’s putting on a show for whoever is behind him.
Holy shit, Futaba thinks, rolling forward on her chair as close as possible to the monitor. Her face burns red behind her glasses, creeping across her face and behind the oversized headphones encompassing each side of her head. Tucking her legs up to her chest, she leans in, biting her thumb with intense concentration. Holy shit, he’s giving the camera a strip tease.
