Summary
So perhaps it was no wonder that Ilya felt off. Off enough that he’d sent a text to Hollander even though he’d promised himself, absolutely promised, that he’d keep his hands to himself while they were in Russia for the Olympics. It was dangerous to do this shit here. He knew it was dangerous, but still his own instincts had almost forced him to send the invitation.
Or: Alpha!Ilya gets hurt in Sochi and goes into stress-induced rut. Alpha!Shane comes a-running when he gets a text with a hotel room number. There's hurt and comfort and fucking, oh my!

Summary
The winner’s room is built for alphas and omegas, for something clean and controlled, for a clear outcome that burns off fast and doesn’t linger. Not for two alphas. Not for the kind of tension that doesn’t break, not for a stalemate that doesn’t resolve cleanly, no matter who wins.
The first time, Ilya Rozanov ignored that entirely and chose Shane Hollander anyway. Like he wanted the fight more than the release, like he knew exactly what he was starting.
Shane’s been thinking about it longer than he wants to admit. Now he’s the one who’s won. The room is his. The rules are his.
Payback is going to feel so damn good.
