Summary
Pairs figure skater Clive Rosfield has watched his entire life fall apart for the second (third? fourth?) time after Benedikta Harman abruptly ends their partnership in the middle of a competition, six months before the 874 Chronolith Trials. What he doesn't expect is a third (fourth? fifth?) chance at the Trials, in the form of his childhood friend, Jill Warrick, who bears her own scars. Together, with the help of legendary coach Cid Telamon, they are going to finish things on their own terms. They only have four years to do it.
And by then, the whole world will be watching.

Summary
Joshua doesn’t like to be in the crypts. They are so different from the rest of the castle, from his home. They are dark, musty and suffocating, and make him feel even smaller than he is. Clive likes them even less—he would not enter them, even if Joshua asked. There were not many things Clive denied Joshua, but this was one. Perhaps he was afraid. Joshua can’t afford himself fear—this was to be his home, after all.

Summary
Clive has lost his brother too many times.
Once, to his own hands – even if it wasn't true in the end, the belief that he had had nearly ruined him.

So, with Joshua passed out in the infirmary, forgive Clive for being a little jittery. He'll do his duties, of course, but he's running at half-power, at best, waiting for someone to tell him...
